PORT PRECINCT

The Port of Brisbane is one of Australia's busiest container ports
and a key driver of economic growth throughout the South East Queensland region.

Located in the heart of the port precinct is the Visitor Centre. The Centre offers fantastic food in the restaurant and cafe, port tours and an interactive learning display. The young, and young at heart, can test their skills with the interactive games to move cargo from a ship to shore, operate a tug boat and use a fork lift. Or if you prefer getting close to nature, enjoy a picnic beside the lake while watching the abundant bird life. Speaking of bird life, the port has a 12ha Shorebird Roost overlooking beautiful
Moreton Bay.
